Quick Dialy Chicken

                  Life is so busy and our time is too small. We moms have to do lots of things in less time. Starting from morning to night we spent time for our children, do lots of things which they want and like. My little Pari slowly growing up and now she just completed the age of 4 yrs. She can now tell her choice, she talk about what the things she like and what not. Previously I used to give her chicken stew with whole lot of veggies but now she has her own choice, she can now tell which recipes she wants. Chicken is the thing which she always loves to eat .The recipe which she love and always love to eat is the recipe I am sharing with you today. All moms you all do lots of good recipes and may you have already tried similar previously, if not you have an option to try this. It is a quick and easy recipe for busy moms and for all. So here is my Quick daily Chicken … 
Servings: 4
Marination Time : 30 mins.
Preparation Time :10 mins
Cooking Time: 30 mins.
For the marinating:
·        Chicken with bone( medium)- 500 grams.
·        Yogurt- 2 tsp.
·        Ginger paste-1 tsp.
·        Garlic paste - 1 tsp.
·        Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp.
·        Milk-1/4 cup.
·        Salt -1/2 tsp.
·        Pepper powder-1/2 tsp.
·        Homemade masala (see below )-1/4 tsp.
Homemade masala:
·        Green cardamom-3/4 no
·        Clove-5 no.
·        Cinnamon stick-1/2 inch
·        White pepper-6/7 no
·        Kebab chini-2/3 no
·        Rose petal-5/6 no.
·        Cumin seed-1/2 tsp.
·        Nutmeg-1/4 the
·        Mace-1/4 the
·        Dry roast the all spices and blend it well.

For gravy:
·        White oil - 1 tbsp.
·        Chopped onion-1 medium
·        Cumin seed -1/2 tsp.
·        Asafoetida-1 pinch
·        Tomato ketchup-2 tbsp.
·        Bay leaves- 2 now.
·        Green chilies-2 no.
·        Red chili powder-1 tsp.
·        Sugar-1/2 tsp.
·        Salt to taste-if required

 Step By Step Method:

·        Marinate chicken pieces with all ingredients mentioned above for marinating. Let the chicken marinade for at least 1/2 an hour.
·        Take a Kadai with oil. When oil is hot, add cumin seed and asafetida.
·        When it begins to crackle, add onion and cook until its colour become transparent pink.
·        Pour the marinated chicken into it, mix and add also bay leaf  and green chili.
·        Cook with low flame covering it for 10 minutes. It will be cooked almost half and oil will float over.

·        Open the lid , add sugar and salt to taste.  
·        In a small bowl mix tomato ketchup and 1/2 cup of water.
·        Now in a Kadai add red chili powder and ketchup mixture and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
