Chicken Pizza

          Homemade pizzas are sometimes thought of why we are giving so much effort of making pizzas when there is plenty of option to order it online or over phone.But I think there is always good to prepare pizzas at home as you can manage it in your way. The result is of course very healthy and freshly prepared pizzas.
           Here I have made the sauce myself though it is easily available in stores now. I follow some steps of Sanjeev Kapoor to prepare the sauce. If possible one can make the pizza base also at home to get the maximum freshness and also option to make a size of your choice .This time I used readymade bases which is also available in stores. Hope my process gives you a fresh idea of Homemade Pizzas.


Ingredients:

·        Pizza bread - 8 pieces

For pizza sauce:
·        Tomato - 3 nos.
·        Onion-1 no.
·        Garlic - 2-3 cloves
·        Olive oil-1 tsp.
·        Oregano-1/2 tsp.
·        Black pepper powder-1/2 tsp.
·        Tomato ketchup-1/4 cup.
·        Salt-to taste.
·        Basil leaves-2-3 leaves


For chicken filling:

·        Boneless chicken breast(finely cut)-400 grams.
·        Olive oil-1tsp.
·        Oregano-1/4tsp.
·        Garlic chopped-1tsp.
·        Parsley leaves-1 tsp.
·        Worcestershire sauce-1/4tsp.
·        Salt-to taste
·        Chili flakes-1/4 tsp.

Other ingredients of filling:
·        Tomato cut into small cubes (deseeded)-1 cup.
·        Capsicum cut into small cube-1 cup.
·        Oregano (for sprinkle) - as required
·        Mozzarella cheese-1 packet.




Method:

For pizza sauce:
·        Put chopped tomato, chopped onion and garlic in a micro oven proved bowl.


·        Microwave for 2 mints then mix all other ingredients for making sauce with it and make a paste.

·        Thus our home made sauce is ready. You can preserve it in a refrigerator of course in using an airtight container.


For chicken filling:
·        Take a pan. Then put oil .when it becomes hot, add garlic and parsley. Mix it.
·        Add chicken, salt, oregano, Worcestershire sauce and chili-flakes. cook in high flame.
·        When chicken's colour changes to white, remove it from heat.

·        Take pizza breads. Take one by one and spread sauce over them.

·        Sprinkle cheese over it.

·        Then put prepared chicken and chopped tomato-capsicum and next sprinkle oregano.

·        Finally spread cheese all over it.

·        Preheat the oven at 240 degree C and bake for only 12 mints.
·        Of course Serve hot.
